WiFi Training is pleased to announce another all-original digital course around the Cisco 9800 product line. This time focusing on Streaming Telemetry.
Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers have introduced a new world of possibilities for Wireless deployments, and the engineer's who work with them across the life cycle. IOS-XE is a powerful modular OS, that allows us new way's to access telemetry data referred to as Model-Driven Telemetry or MDT. In fact, IOS-XE offers several MDT interfaces to access telemetry data NETCONF, gRPC, and gNMI. Most NMS solutions on the market lack real Wireless metrics & visibility, Wireless engineers need to perform their jobs at scale. These solutions always fall short on customization options. Today Model-Driven Telemetry gives us access to virtually any data point imaginable. When combined with a suite of open-source tools such as the telgraf, InfluxDB, and Grafana, known as the TIG stack, allow us to easily create amazing-looking & fully functioning dashboards that can be fully customized until our heart is content.
Rookie instructor Kjetil Teigen Hansen shows us how to make the most of these new MDT options, using telegraf, InfluxDB, and Grafana. Also known as TIG software stack.
Objectives:
After completing this course, students will know how to configure Cisco 9800 controllers with telgraf, InfluxDB, and Grafana creating customized dashboards for Model-Driven Telemetry.
